Counting Threads - Patty's website

Needlework, my blog and other things of interest to me.

These are projects that I have started.  Each time I work on a particular project, I will post an updated photo of it.  If the photo has (Scanned date) next to the "Date of Last Progress" this means that this was the date I scanned the piece of needlework.  I have so many pieces in progress that I can't remember when I last worked on some of them.  If there is just a date, then that is the last date I worked on the piece.

I just had to stitch something with this floss when I saw the name. My sister and father used to have a routine when she was about 3 years old. He had an old VW Beetle back in the seventies that was a pale blue color. My sister would ask Dad, "What color is your car, Daddy?" His response was always, "Sky blue pink with orange polka dots." This always sent her into peals of laughter which delighted my father.

This was originally going to be a round robin piece with some stitching friends in Germany. Unfortunately, my life got too busy and I couldn't continue with the Round Robin. This portion is what was stitched by the first person to work on my piece in Germany.
